Heino Burger

The Munich-born artist was well-known for his humour and positive outlook. He had an affinity for dachshunds, Greece, and Schnitzel. His naïve paintings, which were displayed in the gallery, highlighted how Greece had made such an impact on his life. Boats, houses, and the vibrant colour that are associated with the country were captured beautifully in his work.

His love for Dachshunds, a passion he shared with his lovely Irish wife Helena, inspired him to write a book (available in German and English)  about the three lovely dogs that changed his life completely. Each little dog, luckily, one after the other and not at the same time, had characteristic traits that were good, bad, and sometimes even beyond belief!
