“Happiness is not in money, but in shopping.”
Marilyn Monroe
The famous German graphic designer Anette Lenz has outdone herself with her artistic styling at the latest art exhibition in Paris. ‘La mode est une fête’ (Fashion is a celebration) at the Musée des Arts décoratifs in Paris. It is an exhibition by the acclaimed fashion designer from the early 20th century, Paul Poirot.
Paul Poiret changed the world of fashion and freed the constraints of painful fashion by abolishing the corset. A man who embraced the changes of the modern world and was inspired by Belle Epoque and the ‘Roaring Twenties’ (Années folles). He was the first couturier to launch his perfume line, organize lavish parties and spectacular fashion shows, send his creations on a world tour, become famous in the US, found a school and studio for interior design, and design costumes for the cinema.
Anette utilised her artistic skills for the presentation, exhibition posters, and lighting design.
The exhibition runs from 25 June 2025 to 11 January 2026
