Information about Else Rekort’s life and artistic goals has been lost, which is unusual considering that her works were exhibited in various locations in Freiburg in the 1950s and 1960s. When searching through the vast amounts of data on the internet, it is disappointing that there is so little information available about Else Rekort, who appears to have been largely forgotten.
